Sun Moon University is a private university founded on 3 April 1972 in Asan, South Chungcheong Province. Its Korean Language Institute and School of Law are in nearby Cheonan.
About 10,000 students study here, including roughly 1,700 international students from over 70 countries, across Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Computer Engineering, Business Administration, Global Business and Media and Communication, with a Korean Language Program.
