JEI University, known in Korean as Jaeneung University, is a private college in Incheon's Dong-gu district. Founded in 1970, it is organised around design, IT, social-service and hospitality divisions.
Its subjects run from Fashion and Clothing, Interior Design and Beauty and Cosmetics to Computer IT Engineering, Data Intelligence, Social Welfare, Early Childhood Education and Hotel and Culinary Management, with bachelor and master programmes and a Korean language programme.
The subject list is practical and portfolio-led rather than research-led, which suits students heading into design, hospitality or care work rather than into a doctorate.
Incheon is Korea's gateway city, so the campus is close to the international airport and inside the Seoul metropolitan transport network.
